I started this online marketplace back in 2014 as I wanted to build a home where all Australian artists and designers could gather. As I renovated more homes and properties I was always on the search for interesting decor that wasn’t the same as everyone else had.
So I started digging and discovered so many much out there! But it was all pretty well hidden and tough to find. So now you can find them all in one spot – HART Home Decor!
I am extremely proud of all the designs here and especially love seeing what new art our amazing group of Aussie artists come up with!
They are constantly evolving and pushing the boundaries. This is very exciting to watch! I decided to put together a guide for you of some of the more recent arrivals for your viewing pleasure. Read below to learn all about our newest friends and what inspires them!
I just wish I had more walls!
Liza Murphy is an Australian artist who’s passion lies in travel!
Her vintage style artworks are just fabulous! And they documents everyone’s favourite parts of this amazing country of ours. They span from Surry Hills to Salmon Haul to St Kilda.
Liza is based just south of Sydney with her family and spends her time between that and taking her beautiful artworks to design markets regularly.
Shop her super cool art HERE – ps Surry Hills is my fave!
Shaun and Dani, are the husband and wife team behind Harli + Dash who create modern & on trend graphic and photographic prints for any adult, teen or kid’s space!
Shaun is the designer and Dani is the photographer and after working for over a decade for others decided to combine their talents to create a collection of stunning and affordable prints and posters for everyone to enjoy.
Their pieces are 100% designed, printed and framed in Australia yet photographed worldwide!
Mine favourite is currently this Agave print but that is subject to change at a moment’s notice!
Shop their huge, ever growing range here.
Pencil & Thread was created by Shannon Dyson.
He created this amazing small business after he studied a bachelor of Creative Arts at the Wollongong University, majoring in Graphic Design and Visual Arts. This now allows him to release his creative juices in to the world! He is based in the Southern Highlands New South Wales 2 hrs drive south of Sydney.
My favourite is Shannon’s ‘Chillax’ print. The perfect mix of tropical, boho and metallics!
Shannon wants Pencil & Thread to be more than just a brand, but more of a lifestyle that everyone can enjoy in everyday life.
This is the place where all the creativity starts! Shop HERE
